Objective:
Promoting sustainable aquaculture operations, in particular strengthening the competitiveness of aquaculture production, while ensuring that operations are ecologically sustainable in the long term.
Funding applicant:

Existing aquaculture company - enterprise, farm or fishing enterprise, which grows aquaculture products for sale >1 year.

New aquaculture company - enterprise, farm or fishing enterprise, which

plannning to grow aquaculture products for sale or
-
grow aquaculture products for sale <1 year.

Eligible actions:
Investments:
-
for increasing the volume of production of aquaculture products;
-
for increasing production efficiency;
-
for the diversification of species of aquaculture animals;
-
to ensure animal health and welfare;
-
for the protection of animals against wild animals;
-
for improving the quality of aquaculture products produced in the company or adding value;
-
for reducing environmental damage and ensuring sustainability.
Eligible costs:
-
Purchase and installation costs of new devices, machinery, equipment, IT and software.

Construction of new buildings and reconstruction of existing buildings (building for breeding and incubation of aquaculture animals or for product processing; hydrotechnical building; other building related to the purpose of the project).

General costs (incl. costs of expert-examination, construction supervision, author supervision etc.).
Amount and intensity of support:
Available public funding for support: EUR 7 million.
Micro, small or medium enterprise:
Eligible costs (EUR): 5,000,000
Intensity of aid: 60%
Amount of aid (EUR): 3,000,000
Large enterprise:
Eligible costs (EUR): 5,000,000
Intensity of aid: 50%
Amount of aid (EUR): 2,500,000
Aid intensity for existing aquaculture company:

for the purchase of tractor equipment - 40% of the eligible costs;
-
purchase of specialized equipment for restoration of ponds - 50% of eligible costs.
Implementation term:

2 years from project application’s approval.
