Support for the organisation of international sporting events

Develop Latvia's international competitiveness as a destination for tourism, international cultural and sport events.

Organisation of international sporting events.
Format of the sport event to be supported:
- foreign visitors/participants: at least 500 and representing at least 4 countries;
- duration of the event: at least 2 days.

Purchase of a licence to organise an event in Latvia and/or payment of a participation fee for the international status or rating of an event in international organisations
Preparation of marketing materials, including content development (booklets, banners, videos, etc.)
Promotion of the event in the digital environment, incl. provision of live coverage of the event (eligible costs ≤ EUR 20 000)
Rental of venue or area
Provision of technical equipment
Rental of transport for the joint transportation of participants between venues
Provision of necessary sports officials approved by the sports federation (honorarium)
