With Grantful we have carried out several research projects, mainly related to the development of new products. These projects are quite complex, as there are many parties to coordinate, many documents to submit, calculations, reports, etc. All this has to be put together and submitted. It is a huge job. I certainly could not do it myself because, as a production manager, I do not have that expertise and I certainly would not have the time. At Grantful our project manager is Zane. During 2015/2016 we implemented a project with Grantful - introducing a new environmentally friendly bituminous mix production technology. To qualify for support the project “Bituminous mix production using foamed bitumen and recycled asphalt” the road construction company Igate needed the help of experienced professionals. We chose Grantful because we had previously had a positive relationship with the company and heard good feedback. We liked the fact that they delved into our project, defined exactly what documents we needed, took the process into their hands and managed it professionally. In 2015 Zaza Timber Production Ltd. implemented a challenging science-related project. It set up a new production facility to carry out industrial research and prototyping of glulam structures. Grantful team actively helped the company to obtain funding support for the project. Initially, the project was in a scientific status - a lot of industrial research and pilot developments were carried out. During this period there were restrictions on commercial activities. But after three years, we were able to commercialise the project - turning it into a successful business. Zaza Timber Production Ltd (formerly IKTK Ltd) exports glued laminated timber structures to construction companies all over the world.
